WHY WORTRAHMEN?

WHY WORTRAHMEN? I have always dreamt that one day, when I will write my autobiography, I will title it as 'The Frames of Life'. I was very young when my myopic eyes were framed by concave lens. These frames have shaped my vision for life! These frames have shaped my thought! Whatever I see is through them. The thoughts that process behind these frames is what through this blog, I hope to pen down!  Wortrahem, as it is in German, it means word frames. Word frames that have built in my mind for all these years! After all, you can edit my words but not my thoughts. ***Letters look small because the writer has thought too far***

RISE, RAIN AND SHINE

I want to be rich. I want to rise. I want to dominate skies as rain. But, there is more to it! I want someone to give me a blessing as I do such...I want someone to smile because of such...I want someone to live just fine because of such...I want someone to have experienced a positive change... I want to pour down only to light and color some other places, ones that really need some! Rise and Sunshine As I rise to rain, Floods behold and droughts revert. No, I do not take away the sunshine; I angle it only towards  the unshaded more. For where lies its importance, Is where it is non-existent. Because white is nil on a blank paper- But on a black paper, it lies a centre of hope. ***Funding someone's education only so they grow up to earn for themselves is more satisfying than increasing your child's pocket money.***

A STORY THAT REPEATS IN MANY CORNERS OF THE WORLD...

Writing nothing as a brief introduction, I would like to only talk about the title of my poem as it below reads. My poem is a situation revolving around four words - I, HIM, NO and KNOW. The situation reveals to you in the lines that follow... I - (k)NO(w) - HIM I go to bed Thinking of the day ahead. I start dozing off; And fantasies start coming on... Two pieces part ways- And cheerfully lighten my face, Besides two bunny pads wait, Till the time my sleep is off the plate. Getting up unreadily, Dressing up steadily; Walking down the still escalator Giving a hug to mother, a social orator. the sizzling smell travels all through Grabbing the attention of my nose - see through! By the time father is awake I already have milk for his sake. He adores me a lot, He gets tensed when I get a clot, He stands by me during every anti-me plot. Oh! He is such a loving father; And I, his loving daughter! He comes out to give me a goodbye kiss- All day then, I feel a bliss... Scaringly, I felt a hand...

IS IT NOT OKAY?

Isn't it okay to feel upset sometimes? Isn't it okay to express your mood sometimes? Isn't it okay to let your emotions be in front of the world? Isn't it okay for your feelings to roll down the cheeks? Isn't it okay to just cry some fine day, in solitary or maybe just in public? Isn't it okay to not be weak with tears? Isn't it all okay? The world often disregards a person who cries. For this world, the strengthened is born free of tears. People cry because they are weak. But what if I tell, on behalf of all those who cry, including me, that people are strong because they cried.  A newborn, who doesn't know anything about this world, is almost dead if it does not cry. Then how can a grown up be alive without letting his tears and emotions out after having an almost fully fledged idea of how this world is?  Rolling out stronger    The world might not regard For the strong and hard To shed tears like a coward. But does it so stand, Enough fair at all end?...

THE DIVINE SHEPHERD

Born in the darkness of the prison, he filled colors and love in the lives of many others!  Shri Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was brought up by his foster parents, Yashoda and Nanda; with utmost love and care.  Took birth to free his parents* from the unhealthy treatment by Kansa** by ending his rule, Shri Krishna also wanted the world to understand eternal love. Being the preserver God himself, he could have fixed all the chaos in the world within a fraction of seconds. Born as a human, he decided to face life and its challenges not as Narayana but as an ordinary shepherd who dearly loved his lady, Radha. With so many demons interfering his early life, he is still remembered for his smile, his mischievous yet jolly nature. With his life at risk of these demons, he enjoyed his present and used to be busy either stealing maakhan or breaking the pots of the women of the village.  What his story teaches is that happiness is a state of mind that has nothing...

IN MEMORY OF THE FAULTLESS...

In memory of the faultless one, who trusted the demon; who trusted the human beings, I hereby express my hearty condolences. Ironic it indeed is, that on one hand they worship it as the living incarnation of Lord Ganesha, and on the other hand, slaughter them in the most painful way. Through words below, I remember and you should too, my friend, that how filthy and inhumane is the human race!  Two-Faced Pineapple All that glitters is not gold To walk into the river alone- I was too old. So, accompanied me my little clone! Without any sound of hassle Silently, we walked towards the pineapple. With nothing in my heart; I didn't know; That there waited instead a crackly dart! So was the calf's story- Ended even before a start. ***Despite everything, I still believe that people are good at heart or so it thought.***

FOR MY BEST FRIEND...

I was in grade 3 when I met her. She boarded the same bus as me. Apparently, she did not find a better place than beside the teacher. It was then that I befriended her and rescued her from that seat. From then, our friendship grew like it was on boost mode. Her stay in Mhow had been the longest! Even though she lives in another country today, it is never difficult to reach out to her.  Four years that I spent with her, on her fifteenth birthday, I thus describe in the four stanzas below. Of all of whom around me- Never had anyone done so or see. 450 hours annually! In the library I sat With my library, reading all and Gilderoy Lockhart! Once, results of a contest we decided to check out. Politely complaining, individually, with the judges we sort, Who knew that so our teacher had us caught. Stand by me till the last blast, to she had forethought. That day, true friendship is what she taught! People find friend in pillow I too thought so ...
